My expreince of the "Trigger" & what to do...

The other night I noticed I was "triggered". There was tension in my jaw, feelings of anger and fear, and mind took a hold of it and started "running" all over the place....taking me into negative thoughts which further added to my fear. It was not fun!

The thing is we can't expect ourselves to never get triggered. It happens. BUT can we notice it and interrupt it before it totally "takes us down".

So what did I do?

Well, thank goodness that I had a meditation session scheduled on my new IG account @_theawakelife. As I sat down to do the mantra meditation with the group tears filled my eyes and....

I immeditately landed in my heart. Seeing people show up to meditate with me brought tears to my eyes (in a good way) - and as I chanted the mantra the negtive thoughts dropped.

Finding ways to drop the mind and land in the heart are so key! There are many ways to do that!

But for me it is Kriya Yoga, Meditation and Breathwork. I love these pratices so much because they almost immediately create a shift out of the mind - and into the heart.

This is why I am so passionate aout sharing the practices - because if it works for me maybe it will work for you too!
