My Big Change...

Updated: Feb 13, 2022

As many of you know I have had a lot of “twists in turns” in my career as a therapist ~ I have worked in many different jobs, had my own practice, and have had the gift of working with people from all different walks of life. I have learned a lot over the years and I am grateful.

In the last 12 years, however, yoga has taken over. I have taught thousands of classes, workshops, trainings, retreats, opened two studios ~ and closed one. Lots of moving parts and expansion over the years, which is exciting. But, my ego was craving stability, "security" and somewhere to "land."

And then in September, stability dropped in...

I started a job at a counseling center that serves college students, a population I love working with. The thing is, as I continued in this job, I realized I was trying to make "an old pair of jeans fit that just didn't fit anymore." I could do the job and even enjoyed it, but working as a traditional therapist just wasn't my calling any longer.

I started feeling depleted, exhausted, and frustrated because I wasn't having time to share and serve in the way that I know I am meant to:

Helping people by sharing the powerful practices of Kriya Yoga & Vedic Astrology & Meditation

There was also a “stuck” feeling in the area of abundance ~ and when that happens you know you aren’t in the flow. You see, if you are doing what you're meant to do, the universe will support you ~ you will be and feel held. It is a lesson I have been playing with for years. That fine balance between using the “logical mind” and the “intuitive knowing.”

I had the knowing that this job wasn’t “lined up” for me for quite some time ~ but the fact that the job wasn’t “bad,” made it hard to quit ~ just like my marriage years ago... it wasn’t “bad," but in my heart I knew that it wasn’t in alignment with who I was.

So, yesterday I gave notice ~ here I go, on a spring board leaping again ~ and it feels exciting, exhilarating and freeing!

Here’s the deal my friends... no one can make these decisions for you. They have to come from you! But this doesn’t mean you can’t have support. I have my support people and I don’t know what I’d do without them ~ I am so incredibly grateful.

If you need a support person or tools for connecting to and aligning to your truth, reach out!!! I am here! I would love to listen, mentor and share the magic of kriya yoga, meditation and vedic astrology.

all my love,

Anjali
