“What is the most compassionate thing I can do for myself in this moment?” Sometimes it’s doing something “good” like meditating or taking a walk. And sometimes it’s doing something “bad” like watching Netflix and eating a box of crackers. Here’s the deal guys, we label certain things as good in certain things as bad. And there’s no good or bad. It’s really the attitude behind the action.

💯 agree. If I do something "good" like take a walk with my dogs because I feel like I should, rather than because I want to, then I notice my mood is messy after, because I didn't give myself what I truly needed in the moment. My intention is to be mindful of moving from a place of compassion for myself rather than from a place of "shoulds." ❤
